Sheriff's Sale

Civil sales of both movable and immovable property occur every Wednesday morning (excluding holidays) at 10:00 a.m. Sales are held in the conference room at the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office, 205 Franklin Street, Mansfield, LA 71052.

Bidding is open to all persons and payment must be made at the conclusion of the sale.  Only certified funds will be accepted. A line of credit letter from your bank must be turned in before bidding begins.

Specific information pertaining to the Sheriff's Sales may also be found in the classified section of the Mansfield Enterprise Newspaper every week. Sheriff sales are advertised 10 days prior to the sale (movables) and two times in a 30 day period for immovables. Detailed information on sheriff sale can be obtained in the Civil Department, DeSoto Parish Sheriff Office 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. any day of the week.

NOTE: Writ Value generally means the principle amount owed to the Plaintiff/Creditor. It may not include additional costs such as interest, attorney's fees, court costs etc.
