DISPLACEMENT - SHELTER INFORMATION
The DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office is working with the American Red Cross to assist individuals that may be displaced due to the strong storms we experienced this morning. Many homes in DeSoto Parish have seen heavy damage, some destroyed, and many are without electricity as well. We are grateful that injuries appear to be minimal at this time, but we are out constantly asssessing the situation and assisting residents. The major areas of impact assessed so far remain in Kingston, Frierson, and Gloster.

We will provide further information to the public once we have gathered the necessary information on areas affected.
