If mailed, payments must be made by Money Order or Cashiers Check. Payments made in person may be cash, money
order or cashiers check. Fines may be paid at the same location as tickets during same hours. NO PERSONAL CHECKS.
Property bonds for bail can be made at the Sheriff's Office ONLY during office hours.
Surety and Cash Bonds can be made at the Sheriff's Office or the Detention Center at any time.
Tickets issued by the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office or Louisiana State Troopers may be paid at the DeSoto
Parish Sheriff's Office. Payments sent in by mail MUST be in the form of a MONEY ORDER or CASHIER'S CHECK
and MUST be accompanied by either the original or a copy of the CITATION. Cash payments can only be accepted
during normal office hours of operation.
